This webpage was created mainly for
my love of cooking. “Kusina” is a Filipino term meaning kitchen. It is the heart of all the places inside
the house. I always have fond memories of my childhood thinking of my
grandmother’s “dirty kitchen” (kitchen without the power of electricity or
gas, using only coal or firewood) and my mother’s constant time spending
with her cooking in the family kitchen.
Now, as a mother, I spent most of my time creating and preparing foods
for the family as well as entertaining guests. For those who love their home and the ambiance of a warm
kitchen filled with scented and delicious food creations, I dedicate this
site. I am thankful for the love and
devotion of my mother who taught me the wonders of home cooking. My family now enjoys the benefit of such
knowledge. Here, you will also find my fusion food creation tested through
the years. Some helpful links will
